佛学班开学典礼
新加坡佛光山在本校举办的第二届“儿童佛学班”与“家长佛学班”已在一月十九日正式开课。感谢新加坡佛光山妙扬师父和义工老师的慈悲发心，继续为小二、小三／小四学生及家长授课。
举办儿童佛学班的目的是希望学生在佛学、道德文化中，树立正确的人生观，如：孝悌父母，感恩惜福一切所拥有的东西。希望学生在薰习佛法、接触佛学教义后能培养正确的道德观，以及向上、向善的积极生活态度。

Dharma Class
The Dharma Class was officially launched on the 19 January 2008. This is the second year that the class is conducted for the Primary 2 to Primary 4 pupils and their parents. This class is conducted on Saturdays by Venerable Miao Yang, together with some volunteers from Fo Guang Shan Temple (Singapore).
The objectives of this Dharma Class are to:
- cultivate the correct and desired moral values in our pupils;
- instill filial piety towards parents; and
- be grateful for what they have.
Through these Dharma Teachings, our pupils will have the right perspective of life and be more positive and compassionate towards others.
